Our curtain holdbacks are a simple minimalist design made from solid walnut wood. Each is easily installed using 3 screws and a hidden walnut wood mounting bracket providing a "floating" appearance when viewed from the top and all sides; the installation hardware and walnut wood bracket is only visible from underneath.
This has been given a final sanding by hand before applying the food-safe, solvent and VOC-free finish consisting of linseed oil and beeswax. Designed and made by Broadmoor Design in State College, Pennsylvania from walnut lumber supplied by a local Amish mill.
These are made to order. As a natural material, the walnut wood used in each holdback will be unique in color and wood grain pattern. The holdbacks shown in the photos are an example of possible coloring and grain patterns.

Our sauté spatula rests on the side of pots and pans keeping drips in the pot and the stove top clean. Great for sauté, stir fry, non-stick, stainless steel, Teflon, and more. In addition, our sauté spatula includes a kale/herb stripper and an oven rack pusher/puller in the handle. The set of holes in the handle are designed to easily remove kale/herb leaves from stems. It makes preparing kale, Swiss chard, parsley, cilantro and other leafy greens quick and easy. The last opening on the handle is designed to push or pull an oven rack.
This has been sanded, washed to raise the wood grain, and given a final sanding by hand before applying the 100% food-safe finish, which contains coconut oil, mineral oil and beeswax. Wood utensil care:
--Hand wash with soap and water (don't use dishwasher) and let air dry.
--Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil or butcher block oil to maintain the wood
--For a smoother like-new feel after prolonged daily use, lightly sand with fine sandpaper (220+ grit) and re-apply food-safe mineral oil or butcher block oil
